Krill Oil is a mixture of the omega 3 fatty acids Eicosapentaenoic Acid and Docosahexaenoic Acid. These fatty acids, otherwise known as EPA and DHA, are also found in fish oil supplements. However, because these fatty acids found in Krill Oil are in the form of phospholipids, most notably phosphatidylcholine, it is widely accepted that Krill Oil has improved bioavailability in comparison to that of standard fish oil supplements.

After various combinations/times of day, I couldn't tell that these or the Omega TAU were doing anything. Then four days ago took two of each early afternoon with nothing else, and had a beautiful experience - a sense of refreshment, ease, possibility, simple happiness. I love this product!
This product is phenomenal. In my line of work as Security, we more than often do doubles back to back, and a consequent I get from that is cognitive decline, and the intellectual decline. Ever since I started taking ND Krill Oil Pills, literally the first day, I got a mental boost, I think on my feet, process info faster and it seems to regular my mood, too. The only slight negative side effects is you might get a slight blood rush to your head, giving off a slight headache, but this only happens when I do doubles at work -- 16 HR workshifts, so anybody else you'll be fine. Plus, Krill oil ( DHA ) is better absorbed in the brain. Please Try it.

These are the best priced softgels I can find using real NKO Krill Oil. I always stick to NKO because I have found others to be lower quality and higher in heavy metals. ND lets me get the quality stuff for a lot less than anyone else.

This krill oil is something I take every day. I like to combine it with ND's ezmega3 fish oil for the best of both worlds.
In my humble opinion it smelled something from the sea upon first open, but not rancid fish oil. I've tried one other brand of krill oil, and opening that bottle didn't leave an impression. After using the ND krill oil over time however, the aquarium smell faded and only the smell of softgel filled bottle remained.
The krill oil smelled pretty strongly of fish, which is generally isn't a good sign. I've been happy with everything from this company other than this. Not the worst krill oil I've had, but I probably won't get krill oil here again. Still really happy with the company as a whole. ND Admin: Krill oil naturally has a fishier smell than fish oil does. It does not mean it is rancid. All our fish oils are tested for peroxide values before we okay them for sale. They also contain astaxanthin, which protects them from oxidation.
