Sabroxy (10% Oroxylin A) Powder

Sabroxy might be my favorite “non essential” supplement that I take. I love the calm focus it gives me and the slight physical energy boost as well. It’s interesting to use it with different stacks and for me it works well with both calming and stimulating stacks. There are definitely some immune function benefits too that I’ve noticed. Sometimes it can be a little too pushy, but never gets out of hand like Tribugen can for example. I usually take 500mg once in the morning and cycle on and off it for months at a time.

This could be my favorite product. 100 mg daily does not do anything discernible for me nor 200 mg. But 250 mg twice a day makes me feel very present and in the moment. I use it four days on and then three days off. 5 stars !

Very good herb for motivation and a positive mood! I didn't give it a solid 5 stars because, although it is a great herb for the reasons I mentioned above, there is a slight background of anxiety, BUT, that can be solved by taking like 60-70mgs of l-theanine. So if I can rate the Sabroxy+l-theanine combo,it is definitely a 5 star!!

Oroxylum is characterized by many metabolites, including oroxylin A and baicalein. Whereas oroxylin A promotes dopamine reuptake inhibition, BDNF and possibly GABAa antagonism, baicalein does work as a weak GABAa positive allosteric modulator. In my experience, dosages above 50mg can provoke a caffeine-like comedown, but the whole experience is not jittery. Definitely a safe good pick for dopaminergic stimulation, alongside sulbutiamine, n-acetyl-semax, bromantane and phenylpiracetam.

According to wiki, Oroxylum indicum is constitued of oroxylin-A, baicalein, prunetin, sitosterol, oroxindin, biochanin-A, ellagic acid, tetuin, anthraquinone, emodin... While oroxylin-A is acting as a dopamine reuptake inhibitor and GABAa antagonist, baicalein is acting as a GABAa positive allosteric modulator. Thus, this plant extract could be called a stimulant adaptogen since it should feel more or less stimulant depending of people. There is definitely zero potential for abuse. According to my experience, it seems like oroxylin-A is acting longer than baicalein considering the manageable comedown and sleep pattern alteration. This product definitely deserves consideration as a classic stimulant alternative, alongside sulbutiamine, N-acetyl-semax, bromantane and phenylpiracetam.

Does wonders for my attention issues, especially on days where I don’t take my prescribed stimulant. Gives me the focus I need without the rush or crash.

This product is absolutely amazing and very effective! Me and my girlfriend have been taking it stacked with the caffeine + L-Theanine capsules and oh boy it's quite an effective stack. I find that the capsules help prevent the crash so I highly recommend those along with this product. Both are very affordable and give me great bursts of energy that last hours. Even redosing a few times in the same day is effective if I am busy and feel like I could use the extra boosts. I enjoy this more than caffeine alone. My girlfriend has a Ritalin prescription and she in fact replaces one of her daily 30mg doses with this product. It's that effective! I highly recommend this product and this company.

This one is probably my favorite nootropic on ND. I used to take ritalin for a few years in my uni days, so I am quite familiar with the dopamine reuptake inhibition effect. I think it is fair to compare both, although sabroxy would be a very light version of it and I'm glad it is. You don't get any of the big negatives that are associated with ritalin. It's still not something I use on a daily basis as I'm afraid to mess up dopamine levels too much. I tried both powder and capsules and I seem to get a stronger effect from the powder, although it could simply be a dose issue. Right after taking it, I get a noticeable motivation boost, like I suddenly wants to clean up my place. Oroxylin A is also a very interesting polyphenol beside the DRI effect. I think I've read it stimulates sirtuin expression and might even inhibit spike protein to bind to ACE2 receptor.

I love the smell of this sabroxy powder! Pairs very well with coffee.

This supplement made me very tired at multiple dose ranges (100mg, 200mg, 250mg, 300mg, 350mg). But that all went alway when I combined with Tongkat 2%. Tongkat by itself was pretty good (3.75 stars) but I never got the motivation benefit even after testing different doses. However, when I combined tongkat 1x200mg with sabroxy 1x100mg my motivation completely improved making sabroxy finally useful. I was even able to reduce my tongkat dose from 3x200mg for the same effects. Together these supplements have been life changing (removing depressive symptoms, improving motivation and focus for 8 hours after each dose), but Sabroxy by itself would have felt like a waste of money had I not combined the two.

I love this product as it keeps me alert and focused. I take it every morning and it has improved my concentration though the entire day. I strongly redcommend it to anyone!
